At a fraction of the cost of other alloy triathlon specific framesets, the AC-Tri allows athletes to build a race worthy tri bike for the price of an entry level road bike. The performance factor is here. Valdora has been perfecting this geometry and frame configuration since 2002 with the suggestions and feed back from sponsored athletes and customers alike. The geometry of the current model AC-Tri is the same as the recently released full carbon Valdora PHX. The AC-Tri is constructed from a custom multi-butted zinc alloy tube-set. It is aerodynamically shaped for speed. The multi butted "tuned" tube-set rides smooth and the handling is predictable, stable, and highly maneuverable. The triangular shaped straight stays and stiff bottom bracket make for an excellent sprinter. Nice touches include gloss black finish with unique art work, and horizontal drop outs with a replaceable derailleur hanger.
